​Lhasa's Chinese Cultural Park is open

Sightseeing footpath

The Greening Upgrading Project on both banks of Lhasa River with a total investment of 520 million yuan RMB, has been basically completed. As an important part of the project, the Hemei Lianxin Bridge connecting the north and south areas of the Chinese Cultural Park has been accessible now, and the park is open to the public.

Tangfeng Huayun Walkway

At present, many citizens have taken a walk and enjoyed the scenery on the Hemei Lianxin Bridge, and a few pavements are under beautifying but able to pass normally. There is also a special sightseeing platform on the bridge, from which people can see the magnificent Potala Palace, Lhasa River and the beautiful scenery on both banks.

Chinese Cultural Park is located on both banks of the Lhasa River. It covers an area of 704,667 m², including 434,000 m² on the north bank and 270,667 m² on the south bank, and surrounds about 2,000,000 m² of the water area of the river. The park is composed of 4 plates, with 21 groups of sculpture landscapes.

Football field

At present, the north and south areas of the park can be visited. In addition to a comprehensive display on the brilliant and time-honored Chinese culture and modern civilization, the park also has a basketball court, a football field and other sports fields. Moreover, various public infrastructure such as free parking lots and public toilets have been equipped. In the future, Tibetan sweet teahouses with local traditional characteristics and other restaurants will be introduced to provide a safe, comfortable, convenient leisure and entertainment space for citizens.
