"What difficulties do you have in developing your company?" Recently, Drolkar, a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), vice-chairman of the Federation of Industry and Commerce of southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region and the chairman of Xizang Zhongyuan Building Materials Group Co., Ltd., is talking with Yuan Qinming, the chairman of Xizang Shengtianyuan Agricultural and Animal Products Co., Ltd.

This is Drolkar's first time to attend the national "two sessions", which makes her feel honored and proud, along with heavy responsibility and pressure.

"In the past, I just needed to work hard and seize relevant good policies and opportunities of the country to run well my business. But now, as a member of the National Committee of CPPCC, I need to stand on a higher position and open up my working pattern to perform my duties better," Drolkar says.

In the performance of her duties, Drolkar has consulted with many senior members and received their valuable suggestions. With her research and visits going deeper, she has discovered that developing private economy in Xizang is a very important topic in the current process of high-quality development, and also the field she knows best. Therefore, she has decided to concentrate on this subject and prepare for the proposal carefully.

"Once the direction is determined, I must do everything possible to make the problem clear and thorough," says Drolkar. Recently, she has tried to finish her work by 10 a.m. every day, then meet with some private entrepreneurs in Xizang to hear their ideas and carefully take notes in preparation for the meeting. Within half a month, she has conducted in-depth exchanges with more than 20 local representatives of enterprises from all walks of life, then collected and sorted through a thick stack of data.

In addition, she has visited the tax, finance and other departments to gain a more comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the positive effects of the special preferential policies to Xizang from the central government. She has gone to the Tax Bureau of Quxu County, where her company was registered, as well as the Finance Department and the Tax Bureau of Xizang Autonomous Region for investigation. In recent days, she plans to do survey and experience exchange in some state-owned enterprises, to learn from them , collect their opinions, to constantly improve and enrich her proposals.

"As a newly elected member, I should study more and improve my ability to perform my duties better," Drolkar says.

"At present, the private economy has become an important force in promoting high-quality economic and social development in Xizang. As a private entrepreneur, I am not only a witness to the leapfrog development of private in economy Xizang, but also a participant. Therefore, I should actively offer suggestions for expanding and strengthening the private economy in Xizang." Drolkar says that she will show the achievements of Xizang's booming private economy and give suggestions on how to better develop it in the next step to the national "two sessions".
