Recently, Xizang deputies to the National People's Congress (NPC) and Xizang members of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) arrived in the capital Beijing by plane, to attend the first session of the 14th National People's Congress and the first session of the 14th CPPCC National Committee.
This year is the first year for the newly-elected deputies and members to perform their duties, they are full of confidence and expectations to participate in this grand event. From the snowy plateau to Beijing, reporters have witnessed the enthusiasm of the deputies and members to fulfill their duties -- seizing every opportunity to exchange thoughts and ideas, and carefully improve their proposals and suggestions. The conferences have not officially started, but the deputies and members have been already in full preparation in advance.
