At about 2 PM on March 4, members of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) from Xizang Autonomous Region, shouldering the trust of the people of all ethnic groups in the region, walked into the Great Hall of the People together with more than 2,000 members of the CPPCC National Committee, to participate in this grand event.

At 3 PM, the first session of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference opened with the magnificent National Anthem.

This year marks the first year for fully implementing the Spirit of the CPC's 20 National Congress, a crucial year for connecting the past and the future in implementing the 14th Five-Year Plan, and for implementing the arrangements made at the 10th Party Congress of Xizang Autonomous Region. Members expressed greater responsibility and stronger expectations for this year's  "two sessions".
