To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of China’s Tibet Autonomous Region(TAR), the charity exhibition of calligraphy, art and Tangka opened in Beijing Cultural Palace of Nationalities on the 5th of August, Xinhua reports. This activity was held by China’s Calligraphy Association, the Cultural Palace of Nationalities and Literature and Arts Association of TAR.
More than 300 art works were on show for this charity exhibition, reflecting the national unity, social harmony and the development on both the economy and culture in Tibet. Besides, Tangka, all painted by the mineral pigment, is riotously colorful, which shows the artistic charm of Tibetan traditional national culture.
Lasting 6 days, this exhibition will be closed on 10th of August.
