Recently, Boidoi peach blossom valley, which is located in Bome County, Nyingchi City, southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region, is crowned as "China's largest peach blossom valley" by the Shanghai Guinness World Records. According to the Bome Tourism Bureau, Boidoi peach blossom valley is about 10 kilometers away from Bome County. In March and April, peach blossoms in full bloom can be seen everywhere.

It is said that Boidoi peach blossom valley mainly covers 9 villages and its area is 1.5504 million square meters. At an average altitude of 2740 meters, it belongs to typical southern climate. The rain is abundant and land is fertile here, so 6 to 14 meters high wild peach trees can be seen everywhere.

To measure out concrete data of these wild peach trees, invited by Bome Tourism Bureau, one week field survey is carried out by experts from the Agriculture and Animal Husbandry College of Tibet University. It is estimated that there are 180000 to 200000 wild peach trees and 70% of these trees are 360 years old. The oldest tree is about 680 years old.

Bome County is the hometown of glacier and Tibetan kings as well as peach blossom world. Since 2002, Peach Blossom Culture and Tourism Festival will be held in March each year in Nyingchi, attracting numerous tourists. Bome has been holding peach blossom festivals since 2014.
