Recent years, as Tibetan tourism gets hot, Thangka products gradually go to industrialization development path. Relevant departments of southwest China’s Tibet Autonomous Region have increased financial support on developing Thangka industry. Nowadays, Thangka expert database and evaluation center built by the official department have standardized local thangka market and ensured the benign development of the industry.
