Tibet has rich cultural relic resources, profound culture contents, and unique styles, which all contain great historical, scientific, and artistic values. In recent years, under the leadership of the party committee and the government of Tibet Autonomous Region as well as with the support of relevant ministries and commissions of the state and other provinces and cities, cultural relics departments at all levels in Tibet insist on placing equal stress on development and protection.
