Norbu Sida, one of the most famous inheriters of Tibetan Thangka, has started Art Academy of Tibetan Tangka in 2012. Up to now, more than 300 Thangka painters have graduated from the academy. Norbu hopes the academy can be built into the representative heritage sites of Tibetan Thangka.
