On February 11, 2023, the activity of "Fairs in ancient courtyard and Tibetan New Year in Lhasa" was held in Dropenling. This activity focused on cultural and local brands in Xizang, closely integrated traditional handicrafts with modern life, and actively introduced market-oriented management concepts to contribute to the sustainable and high-quality development of local industries. "We take the opportunity of winter tour in Xizang to gather many excellent brands and promote local products, so that more citizens and tourists from different places can experience Lhasa's tourism market culture, which not only constantly enhances the city's tourism attraction, but also helps local cultural and creative small and medium-sized enterprises solve difficulties, and drive relocated households to increase income," said Losang, the brand planning manager of Xizang Dropenling Culture Co., Ltd.

There were a variety of exhibition areas, including cultural and creative products area, local catering area, handicraft area, household soft decoration area, ethnic clothing area, agricultural and handicraft products area of farmers and herdsmen's cooperative (relocated households), daily necessities area, etc. Products with ethnic characteristics attracted many citizens and tourists. "I happened to live in an inn near Dropenling. I had heard the activity and wanted to take the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of local culture. Some of the products on display in the market are rare and very interesting," said Ms. Hu, a tourist.

Street vending economy has become a hot topic in recent years.
