In recent years, relying on the local advantages of a good ecological environment, Xigaze City has built a rare seedlings base to boost the development of forest industry. While protecting the ecological environment, the city helps people find jobs and increase their income, driving them to live a well-off life. At present, the base has planted more than 3.6 million seedlings, with a planting area of over 2.667 km².
