1. The biggest taboo of Tibetan people is killing animals. Although they eat beef and mutton, they never kill them personally. They are prohibited from eating donkeys, horses, dogs and even fish in some regions.
2. You should take the yak-butter tea only when the host holds the cup in front of you in both hands.
3. No spitting and no clapping hands behind other people.
4. Please turn prayer wheels in a clockwise direction.
5. Don't touch the head of others.
6. No smoking, touching the Buddha, turning books and knocking the bells and drums in the monasteries. Please don't touch the religious objects, such as amulets and prayer beads of Lama.
