It is reported from Xinhua News Agency that artists from Shigatse Ethnic Art Troupe of China’s Tibet Autonomous Region gave a performance in Bad Homburg, Germany. There were about 700 local citizens attending this gala. This is a great opportunity to experience an unique and original Tibetan New Year Gala.

The gala is favored by a large number of audience. Brightly colored clothes and festive songs and dances impress the locals greatly and motivate them to go to Tibet for a tour.

After the gala, Vina, a German in charge of a enterprise, said that this gala was excellent and she wanted to travel to Tibet.

Liang Jianquan, a consul general for China at Frankfurt, says that the demand for tickets of this gala exceeds supply, reflecting the interests and wishes for knowing about Chinese cultures, especially cultures of ethnic minorities.

The performance of artists during the gala give  locals the look and feel of the modern Tibet where national cultures are well protected.
