From Nov. 11 to 24, the 3rd Basketball League Match was held in Lhasa successfully.

This match was hosted by Lhasa Municipal Committee and Lhasa Municipal Government, and undertaken by Lhasa Education Bureau and Sports Bureau. More than 3000 people from party and government organs at all levels, enterprises, public institutions, Tibetan troops and other departments took part in this match.

This basketball match lasted for 14 days. 40 teams competed for the top three places through 100 round of games. The three teams were Yiyunge Halal Restaurant, Tibet Qinghai Chamber of Commerce and City Investment Company. In addition, this match also accredited excellent athletes, outstandingorganization award and sportsmanship award.

Apart from that, the basketball match can enrich the masses' cultural life, build up people's physical health, enhance national unity, and promote the construction of happy and harmonious Lhasa.
