According to Housing and Urban-Rural Development Department of Tibet Autonomous Region, Tibet will set up a project library of protection of traditional villages.

Tibet’s eight villages are on the list of the fourth batch of China’s traditional villages. At the moment, 19 Tibet’s villages have been on the list of China’s traditional villages. With a good layout, these villages boast unique culture and rich intangible cultural heritages.
