In recent years, 4 batches of autonomous regional intangible cultural heritage list and 3 batches of autonomous regional intangible cultural heritage representative inheritor list have been successively named by Tibet Autonomous Region. Tibet’s four level intangible cultural heritage list system is basically formed with national, autonomous regional, city (prefecture), and county level.
At present, there are about 1000 items of intangible cultural heritages in Tibet, among which there are 3 world cultural heritages, 89 national level intangible cultural heritages, 68 national level intangible cultural heritage representative inheritors, 323 autonomous regional level intangible cultural heritages, and 350 autonomous regional level intangible cultural heritage inheritors.
