In 2011, Tashi, who is a fashion designer of Tibetan costumes, came to Lhasa. Next year, he created his own Tibetan costume brand which is named as "Yiweng".
In recent years, Tashi and his team try to combine traditional Tibetan elements with modern fashion designs with the aim of creating new types of Tibetan costumes.
These new types of Tibetan costumes are not only favored by local young people but also are sold to Nepal, India and even Europe. In addition, fashion shows are also held in Lhasa, Beijing and other places.
