Lhasa promoted a series of characteristic tourism products including Lhasa's countryside travel and peach flower travel since March, 2014, which made a good start for the tourism market. Then travel agencies' reception volume began to rise sharply.

In 2014, there were 23000 tourism teams registered in the Lhasa Tourism Bureau and each team's tourist number is 5 to 20 people. With the aim of providing better services and convenient conditions to tourists, Lhasa's tourism sectors and public security departments actively promoted the "tourism green channel".
