The establishment ceremony of Kailash Culture Developing Association was held in Katmandu, capital city of Nepal on Feb. 9. Chinese embassy officials in Nepal, Nepalese diplomats once worked in China and some Nepalese Tibetans have attended this ceremony.

According to the person in charge, aim of this association is to enhance mutual understanding, trust and friendship of people in the two countries through organizing academic communication related to Tibetan Buddhism.

2015 is the 60th anniversary of China and Nepal establishing diplomatic relation. This association is a nonprofit folk organization approved by Nepal government.
