Recently, the 4th China Hangzhou International Weiqi Culture Summit was held in Hangzhou. Weiqi is a game played with black and white pieces on a board of 361 crosses.

Tibetan Weiqi Association was invited to take part in the summit and the Tibetan culture exhibition area received a favorable review by experts, scholars and organizer. Through this activity, it not only expanded the influence of Tibetan Weiqi and Tibetan culture, but also leaved a good impression to participators.

Shang Tao, chairman of Tibetan Weiqi Association, was invited to visit the Weiqi Institute of  Pujiang College, Nanjing University of Technology, which is the first Weiqi institute in China. Together with other experts, he gave a lecture to students.
