With the diversification of spreading form, Thangka industry is more closely connected to the correlation degree and fusion degree of other industries, which greatly drives the development of relevant derivative products.

In recent years, cultural regulatory departments of Tibet Autonomous Region have organized Thangka works to take part in many large scale exhibitions with the aim of protecting intangible cultural heritages, promoting the development of Tibet's Thangka industry, and inheriting and bringing forth new ideas of characteristic Tibetan cultural products.
