According to the Tibet Public Digital Culture Exhibition themed on "my auspicious year of culture" that is held recently, at present, Tibet Library has realized the free sharing of excellent cultural information resources in the whole Tibet. The Tibet sub-center of the National Cultural Information Resources Sharing Project is set up in Tibet Library and it is the main force and bellwether of Tibet's public cultural digital services.

So far, there are 1 provincial level sub-center, 3 city level sub-centers, 74 county level sub-centers, and 692 township grassroots service points in Tibet. In addition, the Tibetan Language Resources Construction Center is also established.

Tsedan Butri, curator of Tibet Library, introduces that a series of resource pools such as characteristic local resources, Tibetan language translation resources, red cultural resources and so on have been set up by the Tibet sub-center of the National Cultural Information Resources Sharing Project since 2007.

At the same time, the construction work of Tibet digital culture network, five basic software systems, hardwares and computer rooms is completed, which comprehensively improves the hardware and software conditions of Tibet's public digital culture construction. Besides, the construction projects of the public electronic reading room management system have been covered in 474 cultural activities centers. Various forms of activities including free trainings and exhibitions are held to improve the overall quality of grassroots public cultural workers.
