In recent years, with the opening of Qinghai-Tibet Railway, Tibet's tourism industry develops very fast and the handicraft industry also ushers in a new development opportunity. By encouraging the development of handicraft industry and combining with the tourism market, Tibet concentrates on cultivating handicraft bases and leading enterprises with local characteristics.
With more investment, the Yangguang Pulu Factory in Chanang County, Lhoka City is built on the basis of a farmer cooperative. Now there are hundreds of workers in the factory and the annual income is 2.5 million yuan.
